Dry-Erase Paddle Plates

{Despite the mini-commercial above, I am not a spokesperson for Target's clear plastic plates!}
I have been wanting some dry erase board paddles for the longest time, and today I found my cheap solution!  I can buy a class set of these for a grand total of $24--instead of $70!!!  A little tip for those who might be excited about this paddle plate idea like me:  it is essential to use *Low Odor* Expo markers on the plates!  If the markers don't say Low Odor, they will NOT erase off the plate!
So, grab some cheap-o plastic plates, Low Odor Expos, and have fun using them in all kinds of ways!

Good discovery! Thanks for passing the tip along. (And A+ for presentation!)

A few years ago, Really Good Stuff had these felxible white "boards" (size of placemats length and super thin) that I loved. So light and easy to move around. I gave them to a friend when I left. I sure wish I had them now! Last check RGS doesn't carry them anymore. I think I got 24 for $30.

What a great idea! I was lucky to be able to order new boards at the end of the year but this might be a good thing to give parents who want to work with their kiddos at home. =)

Awesome idea! My dry-erase boards are pathetic! I'd sure love to win your Swoops and Swirls letters for my personal use - I keep trying to find that swirly font that so many TPT sellers are using lately, but to no avail.

We always just use a page protector with a piece of card stock inside. Holds up all year and I get to start off the year with shiny new ones ;)

You can use used dryer sheets as erasers for these. I did the same thing with Solo plates. The little bit of fabric softener left in the dryer sheets after they are used makes them great for erasing Expos from any surface :)

These are such a great idea. My kids have white boards in their desks, but they are bulky and take up a lot of room. These are a great alternative.... easy to store, lightweight. Awesome!

I believe that the dry erase paddle plates are a great idea for children. It can help with many skills such as numbers and alphabet. It also gives the kids something fun to do. I believe it will make the kids want to participate more.
