Many of you have asked to see the skills checklist that my wonderful teacher friend Kim Smith created for our first grade team. We keep a copy of the checklist in our assessment binders, and the kids keep one in their WOW binders for the parents to see which skills are highlighted for more practice and review!
Click on the picture above to download an example of the checklist! (I posted it as a PDF to keep the cute font! I'm sure you will want to change the skills based upon the standards for your state and district.)

This is so great! Do you have one for each of the 9 weeks? This is a great form of communication, no questions, everything is laid out for the parents. What a timesaver!
