I found some old beanie babies in my closet at school--perfect timing for our animals and habitats unit! I assigned groups of kids one animal, and they worked together as a team to research the animal's habitat, and then build a habitat for their animal using paper and a cardboard box lid! Just a cute class project that I had to share!
{Funny little walrus. I like the icebergs!}
I love it! I have tons of beanies in my classroom and the girls love to play with them during choice time. I should have them make habitats for them too!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I would never find something this useful in my closet- haha
