Egg-tivities and a Giveaway!!!

Next week is Spring Break!  Hooray! So that I won't have a care in the world next week, I have been busy getting all of my center activities ready for the week after Spring Break--the week leading up to Easter!  Can you believe it is almost EASTER?  Seriously!?  Time flies, people!

First, I am DYING over the adorable egg clip art by Nikki from Melonheadz.  Y'all...I shop more from Nikki than I do from Target--so, clearly, I have a clip art issue!

Anyway, the egg-tivities included in this packet are perfect for stations.  I found some wavy Easter buckets and BIG fun eggs at the Dollar Tree!  Plus, I found very cute Easter stickers and toys...and I couldn't leave without buying a package of Peeps (you need a little sugar while you work)!

I have 8 different plastic egg "task cards"--which I used as labels on the wavy buckets.  Some are math themed--"How Many Eggs Tall Are You?", "Spill and Count",  and others are all about reading:  "Sight Word Egg Hunt", and some focus on writing and spelling:  "Magical Egg Writing Prompts"!  Each activity comes with a recording page.

Here they are as I am getting them ready.
The hubs probably just "LOVES" when I prep stations at home ;).

One of my favorites:  Easter Word Scramble!

Other "egg-tivities" included are...
"Egg-stra" Silly Joke & Doodle Book!

 Egg Dude/Dude-ette Creative Writing Pages:

Science/sound activity: "What's in the Egg?", egg patterning, egg thumbprints (a great send-home keepsake):

Chick or Egg short i/short e egg word sort!

The 10th, 20th, and 30th to comment will get this packet for free!
As always, thanks for reading, PEEPS!!!

*Please leave your email!*
;)

P.S. If you aren't one of the three winners, but still want some items for Easter fun, Egg-tivities is available for sale in my TpT shop! Just click the cover of the packet at the top of this post!

  64. On gosh!!!! Just what I've been looking for!!! I am doing an egg-citing week of egg studies this week!!! My love for my favorite "egg unit" just got 10 times bigger with the CUTEST literary egg centers EVER!!!!!! Thank You Sarah!! you know it never ceases to amaze me how I can get so excited over adorable egg centers after 30 years of teaching, but thanks to talented young teachers like you....I do!!! ( one of the simplest -- and most fun -- "egg experiments" that we do is become "egg scientists". I bring in a hard boiled egg for each student. After a lesson on the parts of an egg, I tell them to get their science gear ( lab coat, fake glasses, microscope, instruments) on and investigate their egg. It is always so cute.... " I found the membrane mrs Turk!!" "Look, I did it, I found the yolk!!" And my friend had a great idea for distinguishing between an egg with a baby chick and an egg from the store...... We say the egg with baby chick= a fertilized egg because the hen is married to a rooster or the hen house has roosters in there too. And an egg from the store are eggs not fertilized because the hens are not married to roosters, they live with no roosters! sorry to go on and on ..I didn't even tell you about the fun Oviporous Studies that are included! But thank you for the fun egg unit..a definite bonus addition to our egg unit!! God Bless, kelly.turk@browardschools.com

  65. I taught kindergarten for 36 years and I have just retired in June. I LOVE all the Egg-Citing Math and Literacy activities you have created!! I'd love to win this packet for my former team. I still buy packets from TpT and then buy an extra 2-3 licenses for my friends. I'd love to be a winner for my "chicks" at Roosevelt Elem. School in Tampa, Florida.

  69. I am super egg-cited! This is just something a little different to get the kiddies egg cited in small group.... Our RTI sessons seem to drag a little at this time of year when spring is sprouting and my babies would rather be elsewhere.... Thanks for being so creative and GENEROUS, I really appreciate the ideas and time you spent putting them together. Super duper! Xoxoxo from Delaware!
