Where do people, places, things, and animals live? In Noun Town, of course! The kids thought of everything they wanted to put in Noun Town, and then we created an oversized anchor chart to read during stations. Some of my favorites: a submarine, an army guy, a banjo, and Wal-Mart. I mean, you can't have a town without all of those essentials, right?!
LOVING this idea!! SO fun!! When I taught 2nd grade, I did a little "Writer's Block". This "Noun Town" is right up my alley!! I LOVE it!!
