Noun Town
Where do people, places, things, and animals live? In Noun Town, of course! The kids thought of everything they wanted to put in Noun Town, and then we created an oversized anchor chart to read during stations. Some of my favorites: a submarine, an army guy, a banjo, and Wal-Mart. I mean, you can't have a town without all of those essentials, right?!

I just don't know how you come up with all this great stuff!
I'm loooving this idea. With a kindergartener, it's great to see what kind of learnings she will look forward to. I mean, "Noun Town?" How adorable is that?!
Haha! I know I can't live in a town without a banjo :)
I love the idea of Noun Town! My kids could definitely benefit from a trip to Noun Town!
My kids thoroughly enjoyed making our noun town. Have any hints for teaching verbs and adjectives?
So cute! I'm gonna have to try this. Love your ideas.

I love this idea. I must borrow it to help my first graders understand how many nouns exist in their world. Thank you for sharing!
