Cute idea! Yes, you will have to make your point about flashing them at the words, but new ideas are always worth a try.
COOLy is the perfect name for you, cuz you're WAY cooler than I am. I would have NEVER for a second think about letting my babies use these! They'd probably be broken in the first 2 minutes, and someone would be crying. :(
HAHAHAHAHA....Darth Cooley! You CRACK me up girl! I KNOW the kiddos would love this! I'm envisioning a cute printable with this.....maybe our hubbies could help us! I know nothing about Star Wars! :)

I think it's a great idea. I'd hide the bag that says Star Wars and call them something different. You might have less chance for battles.
They will LOVE it! I have several fun pointers that I use in second grade. I have Harry Potter & Hermione wands, a plastic sword, a light up baton, and several cutesy fly swatters.
My little Star Wars fan would LOVE to have you as a teacher! Way to get those boys excited about reading, Sarah!
