1. Complete everything on our family summer bucket list:
2. Soak up every minute with my babies. Get lots of baby snuggles and smiles from Greyson. And "play pretend" with Emma as long as she wants! Because, looking at Emma, I am in awe of the amazing person she is becoming. But my mommy heart is a little heartbroken knowing that these days are so fleeting.
(Of course I just HAD to get my little guy this Mo Willems pigeon onesie!)
3. TRY to get ahead for the beginning of school (is that even possible?). Get back to school packets, lessons, and decorations up, organized, and just good-and-ready BEFORE the panic of Meet the Teacher night and the first day wildness arrives! {I mean, 8 years of teaching, and I've still never managed to feel truly "ready". Oh well. It's a nice goal, right?!}
4. Work on my fitness. Gotta lose this baby weight. This time it just doesn't want to leave me as easily. Somebody tell me WHY must there be so many tasty and delicious things to eat in this world? I just love to eat so much.
5. Read books that are so good, I don't want to put them down. I already started on one--Crash Course by Kim Bearden! It honestly has totally revived my love for teaching. I also picked up The Mysterious Benedict Society (a young adult book--looks mysterious, and interesting) and Four Cups--a new book by my pastor, Chris Hodges. Can't wait to get my read on!
6. Live in the moment.
7. Get back into blogging. I love writing. I love sharing. Really, I do. Life is just busy, that's all.
8. Start a Project Life album or Shutterfly family album. I am THE WORST about leaving pictures just sitting on my computer. I am so sad that I haven't made more of an effort to organize our memories!
9. Go somewhere new. I don't care where. I just need a mini adventure.
10. Go to a movie. Like, not a kids movie. I don't even want to admit how many times I've seen Frozen. Can I get an Amen?!
Have a wonderful summer, y'all.
And, see you soon, because I will do my best to accomplish #7 on this list.

Sounds like my life! With the lack of movies, the baby weight, spending time with kiddos who are growing older each day . . . it never ends! Thanks for the book recommendations. I put a few on my Amazon wish list.
What I Have Learned
I know what you mean about blogging again!! I feel like everything has gotten in the way, and by the time I come home, I am exhausted!!!

Amen! I have not blogged this year...I need to get back to it. Maybe now since I'll have more time.
Amen! I just saw The Other Woman. I laughed out loud the entire movie. Do it!

I hear you with the pictures. It's a little out of control. I am hoping to spend 15-30 minutes a day a few times a week working on the picture project. Good luck to you!!!

Fantastic First Grade Froggies
Mysterious Benedict Society was great! I want to read the other ones too. Another good series is The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place. And I LOVE your bucket list chalkboard. So cute!
