Skills Checklist Download

Many of you have asked to see the skills checklist that my wonderful teacher friend Kim Smith created for our first grade team.  We keep a copy of the checklist in our assessment binders, and the kids keep one in their WOW binders for the parents to see which skills are highlighted for more practice and review!

Click on the picture above to download an example of the checklist!  (I posted it as a PDF to keep the cute font!  I'm sure you will want to change the skills based upon the standards for your state and district.)

Got it! Thanks! I really like this idea....that way it shows parents what to focus on with their child before the next report card comes home!

This is so great! Do you have one for each of the 9 weeks? This is a great form of communication, no questions, everything is laid out for the parents. What a timesaver!

Thanks so much,
Janine

I've been trying to find time to do this for my class as well. Your format is easy to read!
By any chance would you be willing to post the other quarters as well? I'd love to see the progression that your team came up with.

Thanks for sharing Sarah. I look forward to the last nine weeks list. Do you know what font was used? You are right, it is cute. Where could I get it?

Did you ever get a chance to post the last nine weeks? Or, have you started on the first 2 quarters for next year?? I just love this so much! Can you post it in word too so I can make adjustments?

Thanks so very much!
